So I realise it's a little over-ambitious to do a post everyday because even though I'm on exchange, I actually AM quite busy. The first week of school is actually only Introductory lectures though. They are pretty brief and they often end early.
But anyway! Here's my week so far in pictures!

South Korea isn't as effortlessly scenic as those European countries that have a nice rustic feel to them. However there's something about the clutter of architecture and the sights and sounds that makes it uniquely Asian. Maybe it's all the Hangeul scattered around the city.
Dropped by Myeongdong for the first time for this trip since I arrived (Definitely not the last.) Went there to do some shopping and look at clothes prices just to gauge how much I have to spend during Fall. Myeongdong is known for the abundance of Skincare Stores, Branded apparel outlets and a wide selection of restaurants and cafes. However, based on Korean intel, because it's a tourist hotspot items there might not actually be the cheapest you can find in Seoul. Skincare and apparels are the same as anywhere else in Seoul but probably the only few benefits of shopping in Myeongdong are :
1) You can compare prices easily with other shops nearby.
2) You can speak Chinese better than Korean (You will notice the shops are all armed with fluent Chinese speakers)
3) It is close to a Tax Refund. (For purchases over 30,000 in a single receipt. Only for shops with the Tax Refund sticker on the shopfront)

It is however, a heaven for girls but less for the guys because most are the shops are catered to the females. I shouldn't be the one to review this, but from what I see, most clothes average at 10,000 won (~12SGD) and they all look like the kind I see being sold in blogshops back in Singapore. Here I bought a bag for just 10,000 won!
The thing with the items here is that they are all of good quality, nice design (Colour wheel matches), AND THEY DON'T OFTEN HAVE NONSENSICAL ENGLISH TEXT SPLATTERED ON THEIR DESIGNS.

Ok lol let's take a break from tours and talk about school. (If not people are going to say I'm there for leisure and not studies)
THE SCHOOL IS HUGE. It's built into the side of a mountain so the whole school is full of slopes and stairs. Getting from one place to another is relatively manageable with a map but I usually arrive perspiring. (Yes it's still Summer)
I'll probably do a more in-depth post of how scenic the school is. I love the introductions of my classes so far except for one.
Courses I'm taking
1) Insurance and Risk Management (Finance, Net Present Value and shit. I'm dead)
2) Special Topics in Business Administration (So many field trips and networking sessions.)
3) Environment Biology (Pretty much learning how and why the environment behaves the way it behaves and reminds me a lot about geography and natural science.)
4) Theories in Teaching English as a Foreign Language (Learning how to teach a language such as English to people and the various factors affecting it)

Went to do some groceries that amounted up to quite a bomb. I have a kitchenette so I'm able to prepare some basic dishes and I went crazy with it. I feel like I'm stocking up for war but I think these will last me for about 2 months. (Not everything is in the photo.) The thumbnails on the right show some of the stuff I made HAHA. Most are pretty easy to prepare as they all require minimal preparation as they're all instant. Only eggs require me to actually do some form of cooking. I love eggs, can you tell?
The post is getting rather long and I have some things to do, I'll continue on some of my outings and more foodporn in a later post!
